Kcal it! ("the App") is a local-first nutrition tracking app. We do not sell personal data, use advertising trackers, or use third-party analytics SDKs.
The App stores the nutrition diary, meals, recipes, products, profile information, optional profile photo, settings, and AI results you choose to keep on your device.
If you enable iCloud sync, selected app data is stored in your private iCloud account and synchronized by Apple. We do not have direct access to your private iCloud content.
If you grant permission, the App can read selected Apple Health data, including:
This supports the profile, diary, summaries, statistics, and optional imports.
If you separately choose nutrition export, the App can request write permission and write calories, protein, fat, and carbohydrates to Apple Health. Health access is controlled through Apple's permission system. The App does not upload Apple Health data to our server as a background synchronization service.
With permission, the App can create or manage reminders selected by you through Apple Reminders.
Sign in with Apple is optional. If used, the identifier and any name or email Apple provides are kept on the device and are not used for advertising or analytics.
