Kcal it! ("the App") is a local-first nutrition tracking app. Your data is stored on your device by default. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics services.
The App is designed to work primarily on-device. Some optional features, such as iCloud sync, Apple Health integration, Reminders integration, Sign in with Apple, and AI meal photo analysis, may process data through Apple services or, in the case of AI analysis, through our processing server only when you explicitly use that feature.
The App may store data that you choose to create or enter, including:
This data is stored locally on your device unless you enable optional iCloud sync.
We do not collect personal data to our own servers for analytics, advertising, or user profiling.
We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies for cross-app or cross-site profiling.
Sign in with Apple is optional. The App can be used without signing in.
If you choose to sign in with Apple, Apple may provide an identifier and, depending on your Apple settings, your name and/or email address. This information is stored on your device and is not used by us for advertising or analytics.
